Clarice and friends after the Flamenco recital

Clarice and friends after the Flamenco recital

Hello from Spain again!

The weather here has finally changed and almost everyday is sunny and gorgeous. I like to enjoy them by sitting on my host grandmother’s terrace doing homework or just enjoying the sights and sounds of the city.

Since midterms, classes have ramped up a little bit, but there is still plenty of time to enjoy the city. I have started to walk everywhere I go, both to explore and take in the sun as well as prepare for the Camino de Santiago which is coming up!

I recently had my first ever dance recital for my flamenco class! All of the host families came to watch. It was very nerve wracking and intimidating at first, but once I got on stage and saw my host grandmother smiling at me it was a lot of fun. She and my roommate even bought me flowers! It is hard to believe that my time here is starting to wind down, but as my host always tells me, I can return whenever I want.

Thank you!
Clarice
