Global Bachelor's Program Study Abroad Community Ambassador
Charlie is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the Elliott School studying International Affairs. He's a part of the combined degree program, pursuing a Master's Degree in International Development Studies while finishing his undergraduate degree this year. As a part of GW's Global Bachelor's Program, Charlie studied at NTU in Singapore, UAM in Madrid, Spain, and completed an internship at Start-Up Chile in Santiago, Chile. Charlie's favorite part of the GBP was his ability to make lifelong friends and connections around the world while being able to travel to places he had always dreamed of. Charlie looks forward to being able to help students make the most of their study abroad experience in the same way he was able to.

Grace Maduanusi
Gilman/Scholarships Study Abroad Community Ambassador
My name is Grace Maduanusi, and I am a senior at the Milken Institute School of Public Health studying public health with a minor in psychology. In Spring 2026, I participated in the SIT Global Health and Development program in Geneva, Switzerland, which included a week-long excursion to Morocco. During the program, I traveled to 5+ countries, visited international organizations and NGOs, and conducted research, gaining valuable insights into global health and development.
One of the highlights of my study abroad experience was discovering my love for Swiss cheese and chocolate, especially the cheese, since I never liked cheese before studying abroad! I am very excited to work with the Office of Study Abroad. As an SACA, I look forward to engaging with students, sharing my experiences, and helping them plan and navigate their own study abroad journeys.
