Pre-Departure Orientations: Lunch & Learns

*Note: Mandatory for all students intending to study abroad for Spring 2025 (Optional for Early Decision admits for Fall 2025)
Pre-Departure Orientation is a required step that is designed to help students succeed during their time abroad by giving them important cultural and logistical information. Although the bulk of this information can be found on GW Passport in a new application entitled "Pre-Departure Orientation - Logistics", we are hosting these mandatory Lunch & Learns to provide you with key cultural information about your host country. The orientation session will also give you the opportunity to meet other prospective applicants and talk with previous study abroad students. Lunch and Learns will consist of panel discussions with recent returnees. They are there to help so feel free to ask any questions you may have about their experiences abroad! Enjoy some food and meet new people going to the same region as you!
