Tania Martinez serves as the Administrative Assistant of the Office for Study Abroad. Her interest in the international education field began in her undergraduate studies. While at Cal, she became acquainted with international students, which prompted her to study abroad in South Korea. Enjoying her experience, she eventually returned a few years later to work as an English teacher.
While abroad, she zeroed in on her interest to work in the international education field and help promote intercultural exchange opportunities to students and other individuals. She returned to the U.S. to attend grad school.
Before coming to GW, Tania worked as a Graduate Assistant for the AU Abroad office while obtaining her master’s at American University.

Interesting Fact:
