Pembroke College, University of Cambridge
Founded in 1347, Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge welcomes academically ambitious students who can enrich the university community as active ambassadors of their respective disciplines. Pembroke’s more than 400 students are encouraged to look beyond academics as well, by joining university-wide societies. Steeped in the history of Cambridge University, one of the oldest in the world, Pembroke has been untouched since its initial founding and prides itself for having a historical face in the middle of a bustling city.
Pembroke hosts about thirty undergraduate students from universities around the world in its Semester Abroad program. All semester abroad students belong to the college’s Junior Parlour, which hosts many social events and activities, and enjoy full access to all of the academic opportunities, extracurricular activities, and accommodations offered to regular undergraduates.
