Roma Shah, King's College London alumna

“I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat! My experience and all that I have gained is unimaginable. It is a truly wonderful experience, and GW provides an excellent support system while abroad.”

Major at GW: Political Sciences

“The GW [England] Study Center has been a great resource. Dr. Geeta Kasanga, the Resident Director, and Dr. Laurie Kaplan, the Academic Director, have played a great role in providing answers and advice to any and all concerns, big or small. The first few weeks will be some of the busiest and most stressful, but are also the time when you will come to appreciate the GW Study Center the most. Events early on allow you to connect with other GW students, and more importantly, voice your experiences and questions with like minded individuals in a group setting.”

George Kiarie
London School of Economics and Politics, London, England, Academic Year 2012-2013
Major at GW: Business with a concentration in Finance

Jennifer Beatty, Royal Holloway alumna

“Go on as many of the events as you can. They make it really accessible so that we can all come and enjoy some of the activities we might not have found the time to go to on our own. Even living in Egham I was still able to make it out to most of the cultural excursions. England has an incredible history, and it's worth it to attempt to learn as much about the country you're studying in as possible."

Jennifer Beatty
Royal Holloway, Egham, England, Spring 2012
Majors at GW: Psychology and Theater
