GW Inbound Exchange Blogging Scholarship

The Inbound Exchange Blogging & Digital Story Scholarship provides one (1) $1,000 scholarship and one (1) $1,200 scholarship for admitted incoming exchange students each semester who are interested in writing blogs and/or creating a short movie about their experiences while living and studying at GW.  To learn more and apply for this scholarship, visit the GW Inbound Exchange Blogging & Digital Storytelling Scholarship page.

Admissions Requirements

In order to be eligible to participate in the undergraduate exchange program at GW, incoming students must first apply and be nominated by their home institution. In addition to this nomination, students must have the equivalent of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and supply proof of English language proficiency. GW accepts only the following tests as proof of English language proficiency:

English for Academic Purposes

Students who meet the university’s minimum requirements but do not exceed the standard scores will be required to enroll in the English for Academic Purposes course. The English for Academic Purposes course is worth 3 credit hours and counts towards the overall credit requirement for students during their first semester. Students are notified in their admission letter if they are expected to complete this requirement.

In addition to fulfilling the academic requirements, exchange students are expected to show proof of financial support at the time of application. Information on the costs of attending GW for a semester is indicated in the Costs section.
